The Athletic Training Center Trainers & Staff

The Athletic Training Center is staffed by Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs). ATCs are health professionals with bachelors or graduate degrees who are trained in athletic performance enhancement, injury prevention and recognition, and injury rehabilitation. The use of ATCs in the training programs at The Athletic Training Center improves both the efficacy and the safety of the Training programs offered.
Athletic training Center (ATC) Trainer Todd Hine, ATC, President, Director of Services
Mr. Hine is a Bloomfield, N.Y. native who was a collegiate wrestler for Alfred State University in upstate New York. He was awarded a Bachelors of Science degree in athletic training from Boise State University in 1995 and is a NATA Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). He worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Boise State while completing coursework for a Master's degree in exercise and sport studies. Mr. Hine was an athletic trainer for the Anaheim Angels baseball team 1995-1999 and was the head athletic trainer for the Idaho Steelheads Hockey Team form 1997 through 2001. He has participated in training camp with the New York Rangers hockey team.

Athletic training Center (ATC) Physical Therapist Ashlee Dagoberg, DPT
Ashlee earned her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy at the University of North Dakota. Upon graduating, she immediately pursued a career at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center working in the Rehab unit. There, she gained experience in the fields of neurology, orthopedics and spinal injuries. Ashlee is focused on developing her skills in orthopedic dysfunctions as well as vestibular pathologies and has taken continuing education courses in order to stay current on the latest research. Ashlee enjoys rehabilitating individuals of all ages and remains active in athletics which she feels gives her an added perspective when treating patients.


Jeff Wagner
Jeff is originally from Kemmerer, Wyoming. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in the fall of 2005 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. After graduating he moved to Boise to intern at The Athletic Training Center and has been employed at The ATC since that time. Jeff is currently at Boise State University pursuing his Masters degree in Exercise and Sport Science. He will graduate May of 2009, upon conclusion of his thesis study. Jeff’s thesis is on core strength and the role it plays on transfer of power from the lower to the upper body. Emphasis will be placed on how core strength benefits sports performance. In his free time Jeff enjoys camping, fishing, mountain biking, golfing, going to concerts, Chicago Cubs baseball, Notre Dame football and spending time with his friends and family.
